- 28 September 2016: The final trailer of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is released.
- 8 August 2016: NBCUniversal announces that they have inked a deal to air the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films on NBC and the cable networks SyFy and USA Network beginning in 2018, transferring from ABC and FreeForm.
- 31 July 2016: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child breaks sales records in its debut in script form. The stage show receives glowing critical acclaim.
Harry James Potter (b. 31 July, 1980) was a half-blood wizard, the only child and son of James and Lily Potter (née Evans), and one of the most famous wizards of modern times. He defeated Voldemort in a final duel and later became an Auror at the Ministry of Magic.
