The year is 1926. Magizoologist Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to discover and log an impressive array of magical creatures. Scamander arrives in New York for what is to be a brief stopover, when his suitcase of magical creatures is misplaced. The escape of Scamander’s fantastic beasts spells trouble for both the wizarding and Muggle worlds, and he recruits the help of his new friends - two American witches and a friendly Muggle - to help.
